    Description

6 1953 Engineering Blueprints Stillwater Lift Bridge St. Croix River 36"x24"
I obtained these prints at the estate of a guy who was a n employee of the Griswold Switch Co, NE Minneapolis.
In 1953, the bridge went through an overhaul  of the signals and all  electrical system components that ran the bridge.
Griswold Switch was integrally involved in the project.
    Plans include:
    1.  Navigation Light details
    2.  Electric System details around the concourse
    3.  Electric Power  System between Lift Span Towers
    4.  Electrically Controlled Gates Warning Signals & Gongs
    5.  Electric System Details Through West Approach
    6. Proposed  Wiring for Electrically Controlled Gates Warning Signals & Gongs
St. Croix River Bridge at Stillwater.
TH 12 State of Minnesota Department of Highways
    Minnesota Bridge No 4654
    Wisconsin Bridge  No M-61
The Stillwater Lift Bridge is significant as a rare surviving example of vertical-lift highway bridge construction of the Waddell and Harrington type. Only two of these are left in Minnesota, the Stillwater bridge and the Duluth Bridge .
The 6 Prints are Approx   22" to 23 1/2" tall, 35"-36" long ..KIn addition to the six prints are some smaller ones, that are mainly wiring digram  drawn by someone at Griswold.
These prints are overall nice,   there are some wrinkles, creases, edges show some wear, but overall good prints.
Electrically Controlled Gates Warning Signals & Gongs has some right edge wear, creases, and small tears(taped on back side)
Proposed Wiring for Electrically Controlled Gates Warning Signals & Gongs has right edge 3" tear, taped on back side.
