    IRON GAU TIBET
    A very large Gau, made from copper & iron, with various animals, dancing lions & Dakinis & Apsaras at the top. There is also a Garuda & a Chhepphu , two deer & inside a painted clay statue of Guru Rimpoche who exorcised the demons from Tibet, & prayer flags. Tibetan pilgrims carry these as a portable shrine, & it comes nicely all cozied up in a silk case. It measures 10" in diameter & 3" broad, & weighs nearly 5lbs...
