REMCO GREAT JOHNNY REB CANNON WORKS, BALLS, RAMROD, FLAG, INSTRUCTIONS POSTER

Description

Here is a very nice, I would say just about MINT Remco Johnny Reb cannon.  The cannon has a great carriage that has both ramrod holders intact and the pull rope with tie.  Many cannons have broken ramrod holders and rope ties as you can see with some of the others for sale at the moment.  The cannon shoots the 6 original balls.  Just push the ball into the cannon with the ramrod and you are ready to shoot the ball 15 to 20 feet.
You can actually test the function of the cannon without the ramrod so when someone says it is untested then chances are it is broken and can only be used as a display cannon.  Why buy your childhood toy only to find out it does not work! The wheels have virtually no paint loss or scratches, so this could not have been used much.  It was clearly an inside the house carpet cannon.  The ramrod has original felt on it and looks new.

As you can see by many of the other cannons for sale, most are not complete and who knows if it works.
This is a collector grade cannon.
The last two pictures shows you the only iron Remco Johnny Reb there is.  This must have been a Remco promo piece.  It weighs over a hundred pounds.  I bought this over a decade ago and that is what got me into collecting these cannons.  It is just for fun and not part of the sale.
